For additional information please contact Barn Manager Chris Due. Horse stalls will be assigned on a first come first served basis. BigHorn Rodeo stalls will be available Friday, September 21, 2007 at 9:00am. However, for those of you coming in early, stalls will be available through the county. All horses must be out of Horseman's Park by Monday, September 24 at 11 AM. To reserve a stall, the contestants bringing horse(s) must:
NGRA will charge a $25 late fee to contestants who have not pre-registered by the deadline and/or who do not reserve the correct number of horse stalls on their entry forms. Other Requirements In the event of a contestant "no-show," the deposit submitted will be forfeited to the NGRA. NGRA will provide, at no charge, one horse stall per contestant entering horse events. Contestants requiring additional stalls will pay a stall fee of $25 per stall (horse or tack) for the rodeo weekend. Note: An additional fee of $10 will be charged to contestants checking out after 6:00 AM in Monday. All equine must have a current Coggins test certificate, as well as a valid Health Certificate (issued 30 days prior to the rodeo) and current Brand Inspection. Contestants should bring a copy of the original certificates. County authorities conduct routine inspections and violators are subject to fine and ejection from the rodeo grounds. NGRA will not be checking for these certificates, it the contestant responsibility to know and follow the laws and requirements of the state of Nevada. More Information Contestants are advised to check with the appropriate authorities regarding any required certificates, which may be necessary when transporting livestock across State boarders. Please bring your own Feed, Shavings, Water and Feed buckets as they will not be any provided on the grounds. Water spouts are available throughout the stall area. In addition, wash racks are available in the barn area. Pets are allowed, but must be on a leash at all times. No dogs are allowed in the bucking chute area, stock holding pens, or in the arena. A $50.00 fine will be assessed for any dogs not on a leash. Owners of dogs found in the Not-Allowed Area, will be fined $100.00. Per County regulations, NGRA will strictly enforce the leash law. We know a lot of you love to bring your dogs with you when you travel, so please follow the rules for everyone's best interests and safety.
